Our main party is a monthly Sunday daytime event — drawing on the history of gay tea dances that sprouted in the U.S. in the 1950s and 1960s as a means of cultivating community while being politically and socially targeted. We think of our events not just as dance parties, but as community gathering spaces. Previous events have included art markets with local artists and artisans, queer performances with dance, drag, and pole performers, and other offerings including tarot card readings. We have performed at the queer music festival Somos in Mexico City, the electronic + punk music festival Zap Outdoors, at Project GLOW in D.C., and in Provincetown and New York City.
