Starting his career with a weekly residency at the legendary Melbourne Friday night party destination that was St.Jerome's, Flip threw himself into Melbourne club culture as soon soon as he could (like quite literally, days after turning 18). From his quick entry into the deep end, he spread himself across the city's venues very quickly as a guest at multiple breakbeat, techno and DnB nights, and infamous bar hotspots, eventually leading to running his own club brands, 'Juicyloops', and 'Branded Beats' at the age of 20. He was then selected to join forces with the 'Rock Like This' crew, running parties for over 7 years with some massive names such as Stanton Warriors, Plump DJs, Krafty Kuts, A-Skillz and plenty more. During his breaks stint of the mid 2000s, he paired up with UK friend Jimmy Le Mac, and formed the partnership What Now?, producing bass heavy breaks for multiple labels. This lead them to start the label Loophole Recordings, which they continue to run together, scouting Australian talent and releasing quality electronic music from around the globe. In 2013 he continued to move with the ever changing stream of music, collaborating with David Bass to form the Melbourne touring and club brand All Good, blooding new talent and hosting some of the best international acts in house techno and bass. In 2016, He currently holds down residencies and regular guest spots at Revolver, e55, Section 8, Workshop, Brown Alley, The Brunswick Hotel, The Railway Hotel and various other spots. In the last 10+ years Flip has built a massive eclectic collection of music, and used it to play in a long list of bars and clubs around Australia, played for and collaborated with the country's best touring agents, promoters and crews, played a collection of the country's favourite music festivals, warmed up for various international headliners, mixed multiple commercially manufactured CD series, produced tracks for numerous labels and worked in the music industry with passion and ambition. In 2016 and beyond he will continue to explore, nurture, create and be inspired by music and the people around him striving to do the same. #findtheloophole
