Flavour
Biografía
Flavour draws inspiration from the playful sounds of Tom Misch, Parcels and 80s Dance. In turn, Flavour combines elements of funk, jazz and EDM to craft their unique sound.
Having established a following with their debut single ‘Time to Go’ which they accompanied with shows at the Gaso and the Leadbeater, the group released their second single on Spotify ‘Much of a Muchness’ after nearly a 2 year hiatus. This culminated in a stellar headline show at Nighthawks to a packed crowd of loyal fans.
Their improv/jam style performance at the Glenferrie Music Festival evokes their true laissez-faire approach to structuring their shows. The band will often spring up new songs/riffs in the moments the audience least expects it. Creating, re-arranging, solo-ing and communicating on stage are all essential to this type of performance and Flavour do all of this in a very entertaining manner.
With more releases to come shortly, we cannot wait for further additions to the delectable ear worms Flavour bring to our palettes.
