FISTING are a two woman dance floor wrecking crew, the brutal industrial techno project of Jessie (Cacophant) and Angela (_tenebrate). Their sound is an assault to the senses, merging the dense rhythmic noise of _tenebrate with the crushing beats and hard grooves of Cacophant, backed by eye-melting visual mayhem. Using an array of hardware samplers, drum machines and effects to drive their punishing beats, they create pummelling textural soundscapes designed to keep dance floors moving. Echoing the sonic brutality of artists like Ministry, Gorgoroth, Nine Inch Nails, The Body, and Strapping Young Lad, they draw on their love of the atmospheric pounding from producers such as [KRTM], Angerfist, and Krista Bourgeois to build their heavy sound into a relentless techno onslaught. Raw, hard, and close to the knuckle, FISTING are here to push the limits of live electronic music, using familiar patterns and sounds to improvise unique audio visual performances.
