John Kim (they/them) aka (Fish House Funk) @fishhousefunk is a DJ & Party extraordinaire.  With a passion for disco, house, and funky beats, John takes influence from the many years in the club mixed with a love for community & music to create a sound that pays homage to the roots of house music & queerness. With just over 2 years in the game, Dying at various spaces & clubs in DC & NYC, John is growing their skills as a DJ and party producer. Through the collective, Fish House Funk, John has produced a variety of parties including Good Vibrations, Summer Camp, Wind Down Disco, and FEM_FISH. The goal behind Fish House Funk parties is to give a platform for upcoming queer DJs in the DMV area and create a community that supports each other through dance music.
