Bambi aka FIGURE8 is an Austin, TX based DJ who got her start in 2021 DJ'ing at small bars and clubs around the city. No one of Bambi's DJ sets are the same. On any given weekend, showing up to one of Bambi's sets is guaranteed to be a unique experience each time. As a pure music enthusiast and selector, you can catch Bambi playing her favorite Bossa Nova, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Amapiano, R&B, Reggae, Jungle tracks and much more at various venues throughout Texas that include My Oh My bar, Coconut Club, Empire, Community Garden, Ruins, and more. Bambi was a 2023 SXSW Official artist, and has opened up for artists such as the Allah-La's, Talib Kweli, and SWAP MEET. In 2024, she made her BOILER ROOM debut playing the likes of Juke, Footwork, Techno and more. Bambi considers herself a chameleon in the industry and aims to be able to play all music she loves all around the world. The year 2024 and onward will bring focus on DJ'ing with intent for Bambi; as she prepares to play more electronic music that includes Techno, Jungle, Drum and Bass and more in prestigious night clubs all around the world.
