Following an exploration of various genres under various aliases, the Feathervane project has since settled into atmospheric chillout, melodic house, and lush ambient styles supported by the likes of Nora En Pure, Cosmic Gate, and Tritonal. His music is driven by the concept of NEW YOUTH, which can be described as the phenomenon of new experiences that come with age making one feel as though they are once again facing unfamiliar beginnings. This idea was ushered in by his victory as a DJ in the 2020 season of the Monstercat Mix Contest, an effort that would lead him to two EP releases with the label in 2022. With additional appearances on Enhanced Chill, Zerothree, ChillYourMind, and more, the young Austin-based artist and Simulcats member has also joined lineups alongside renowned talent like EMBRZ, Genix, and Wavedash. With several exciting plans in motion for 2025, the Feathervane project looks to take a new direction, embracing the more meditative side of his sound while maintaining his love for dance music. Backed by Shapes Of Solitude, the newest imprint under the Enhanced Music umbrella, he is ready to fly towards brighter horizons ahead.
