Fátima's passion for dance music sparked in Miami in 2007, influencing her style with the cultural richness of her Latin heritage. Debuting in Brooklyn, New York she infused world, tribal and percussive elements that permeate her sets today even as she explores more melodic moods. She has performed at lauded international venues and festivals including: -The D.L., The Tailor, TBA, (New York) -Flash, Soundcheck, El Techo (Washington D.C.) -Warehouse on Watts (Philadelphia) -Ex Fabrica de Harina, Xcaanda, Cactus, Tlaxaparta (Oaxaca, Mexico) -Aparato Contenedor (Monterrey, Mexico) -Yambak (Puerto Vallarta, Mexico) -Luna Obscura (Tamaulipas, Mexico) She enjoys the sense of community and connection within the Burning Man scene, spinning at regional burns including PEX (Maryland) and Loveburn (Miami) and for fundraisers thrown by keystone camps including: Distrikt, Kostume Kult and Hacienda. Fátima founded the grassroots collective: Sisters in Sound to support women artists and increase gender parity in the industry. They have hosted workshops, open decks, showcases and organized a 34 hour continuous livestream event featuring only women DJs.
