Introducing Faded Society aka Cat. The face behind the sound and also leads the team at Faded Society Events. She discovered her love for the underground music scene after moving from Melbourne to London. Cat is an all round music-lover. She can't get enough of bouncy basslines and blurs the lines between genres. Mixing a wide realm of techno, house, drums, breaks and bass with accented styles like jazz, funk, nu disco, vocals and melodic risers, keeping the high-energy pace to keep you moving on the dance floor. Faded Society Events was founded in 2021 stemmed from the humble house parties. It's now grown to incredible musical spaces allowing the raving community, up & coming underground DJs to express and connect with each other. The show introduces short interviews by bringing in guests and allies, discussing experiences in the industry as a female DJ and relatable topics as an up & coming artist navigating their way around the scene." [] She produces and hosts London's first DJ Back2Back Battle. A competition to test DJ's skills, music library and audience engagement. Each competition event is a tournament with one winner, voted by the audience themselves. Each winner will be invited back to the finale show at the end of 2024.
