I strongly orient myself towards techno from the 2000s in my sets and productions, focusing on groove, percussion, and dystopian pads. I see a DJ set as more of a story to be told rather than just entertaining the audience. I have been making music for almost my entire life, starting as a guitarist and songwriter before transitioning to electronic music.
