At the end of the second millennium there once was a devoted beat philosopher from Berlin who took on an everlasting quest to find out more about the antidepressant effect of rhythmic bass impulses on the soul. While exploring the therapeutic applications of freshly harvested 909-Hihats in our everyday lives, most of his work revolves around a particular issue that seems to arise whenever pondering the meaning of bass: “To roll or not to roll – that is the question.” His modern, cutting-edge style combines swing, groove, and vocal energy of House Music with the unstoppable drive innate to the heavy synths and deep basses of Techno and Tech House.
