exuvia is the current project of Madrid-based DJ and producer formerly known as Reptile. After years of development, this evolution consolidates a more defined and deliberate sonic direction, coinciding with the launch of his eponymous label, a platform conceived for total artistic autonomy and long-term vision. The project operates within a deep and psychedelic strain of techno, driven by a ritualistic rhythmic foundation and a sense of transcendental awareness. Inspired by biology, physics, and elemental forces, exuvia’s soundscapes reflect the structural parallels between organic life and technological systems. Built on tension and controlled progression, the sound balances atmospheric depth with physical intensity. While often immersive and introspective, it can shift into forceful and cathartic territory, maintaining a constant equilibrium between contemplation and collective euphoria. The literal meaning of exuvia (a shed skin) serves as the conceptual foundation for both the artist and the label.
