eveliz is a university dropout with big dreams who fell headfirst into a dance music wormhole after realising good electronic music exists and she doesn’t have to listen to monstercat all the time like when she was 9. she credits this discovery to leeds’ beautiful and storied underground scene, having spent a couple years now in the city she’s proud to call home. she’s still a baby to this djing stuff but that's okay because practice makes perfect :) eve’s practice as a selector is marked by a fanatical internet-fuelled devotion to digging up dance music history, whilst exploring the most exciting sounds inspiring her in the present day. she is interested in house, uk funky, dubstep, techno, electro, tech house, breakbeats, footwork and genreless club-bass oddities, among other things. her sets aim to deliver sounds for the body and the heart, marrying the bassweight of soundsystem music with the propulsive grooves of house and techno wherever possible. she also likes to dream about various curveballs and non-club tracks she can sneak into sets one day. she is also a transsexual lesbian and communist, and every day wishes that dance music Culture was less lame, myopic, and clout-brained. love is the message etc etc etc forever
