eve lizard (fka eveliz) is a dance music lover inspired to start collecting music and DJing via the wealth of lovely underground parties + clubs (and people!) in leeds, west yorkshire, where she calls home. she has been DJing for a couple years and is still very green, but is trying to stitch together a sound based around syncopation, sub-bass, alternately dark/dreamy atmospheres, drum machine workouts, drum breaks and vocals. everything she loves in the club, basically! expect house, techno, dubstep, breakbeat, electro, tech house, bassy genre-bending modern-day club music, synthy/pop-ish/weirdo curveballs, and more :) eve currently plays digital, but is starting to collect vinyl with a view towards learning to play it out in the future (but for now mostly to dig + find stuff that's otherwise hard to find). aside from dance music, she loves video games, literature, food, people, cats, bass guitar, and lesbianism <3 she does not like: commercialism, celebrity/headliner DJ culture, BPMs above 170, social media (despite begrudgingly using it), oversold club crowds, straight dance music spaces careless towards women + queer people's wellbeing, or the whitewashing of dance music history (particularly dubstep, house & techno, which are and always will be Black music cultures).
