The Bay Area dance music scene nourished Eugenia’s roots as a DJ, where she cut her teeth playing local clubs and organizing DIY events in San Francisco and the East Bay. Her energetic mixing style can be defined as bright, tender, reflective, and dynamic, jumping across many genres of dance music wrapped in a lush atmosphere — always with a signature touch of sass. Eugenia grew up living between California and northern Italy, and dove into the DIY scene in Boston in 2021, where she played with local queer dance music collective Boudoir. Her sets include HOR Berlin, Fast at Work in Los Angeles, Boiler Room in Boston, and Sound Gymnastics in Brooklyn. In March 2023, she founded LUSH, a queer femme-focused DIY rave co-organized with Adam Unknown. Eugenia is based out of Brooklyn as of 2023, where she continues to blossom further and curate her sound. Eugenia is also a practicing poet and host of a genre-non conforming, ambient-inspired mix series called The Shape of Memory as a part of experimental label Ghunghru, where she asks each artist to express a memory through the arc of a mix.
