Originally hailing from Kansas, Taryn Blake Miller found themselves through their Your Friend project: playing guitar, percussion and bass to make soaring ambient pop, with hints of country and electronic blues, and wrapping it all up in delicate vocal harmonies that caught the ear of seminal British indie label Domino. Domino released their first EP Jekyll/Hyde in 2014 and in January 2016 they put out Miller's debut album Gumption, which marked the emergence of an artist who is sitting at the musical intersection of lush electronica and indie-inflected pop music. TBM is a 2016 RBMA alumni, and under the alias etiquette, has been moving towards mix curation and producing. Their most recent produced projects are in support of the ambient folk artist Julie Byrne, on the Ghostly imprint and for the fashion company A-- company.
