esile is a dj/curator from Montreal, currently based in Berlin. She is a co-founder of the collective xenial, an event series that seeks to provide a welcoming space within the post-club scene. Through the clubs nights, listening sessions and radio residency on Cashmere Radio, the focus is on showcasing emerging artists re-imagining club sounds. Each night embraces genre-fluidity, while gravitating towards bass music energy, all with a feminine touch. esile also hosts the Somewhere Else show on Refuge Worldwide, which showcases contemporary ambient, pop and club sounds. Guided by these projects, her selections flow between various genres with a futuristic and dreamlike essence.
