Straight out of Póvoa de Varzim, eon_Z embarked on his musical journey in 2013 within the dynamic world of Drum and Bass. Focusing on the darker realms of techstep, old-school neurofunk, and drumfunk, eon_Z developed a passion for fast beatmatching and underground Drum and Bass records, ultimately finding his way to the turntables. In 2018, eon_Z took a musical journey to London, spending a year collecting an eclectic array of records spanning Drum and Bass, Breakbeat, and Techno to Trip-Hop, Funk, and even UK Hardcore. This immersion led him to experiment with new styles and mixing techniques, sparking his venture into Techno. eon_Z's project is an open exploration of various techno trends. Drawing from an intensive background in Drum and Bass, he incorporates rhythmic, atmospheric, and technological elements inspired by the supersonic British movement. Living in the duality of digital and analog worlds, eon_Z views CDJs and Turntables are distinct tools, each approached uniquely. In the realm of electronic devices, he embraces eclecticism, and clean surgical mixes, without a defined style, while on the turntables, he embraces the Techno sounds from the 90s and early 2000s, infusing turntablism techniques.
