Ena Smajić, born in Sarajevo in 1997, is a DJane whose musical journey began with piano studies at a young age, evolving into a signature blend of melodic and intense techno. Known for her dynamic sets that range from vocal-infused house to dark, driving techno, Ena captivates audiences with her keen focus on rhythm and connection, leaving no one indifferent. She began her DJ career in 2017 and, while studying in Ireland, performed at notable events like Life Festival. A year later, Ena moved to Madrid for her master's studies, expanding her reach in the electronic scene. After returning to Sarajevo, she took up a residency at Silver & Smoke, where she also launched her own night, Decode. In 2021, her career accelerated with performances at Exit, Garden of Dreams, Javorwood, and Belgrade's iconic Barutana club for the Let's Mix It DJ competition. She continued to establish herself with appearances at venues like Bjelašnica and winter events at Trezor and Dom Mladih. The following summer marked a milestone with performances at major festivals, including Exit, Fresh Wave, and Montenegro's Nomad Beach Club on Ada Bojana. Ena's travels and a pivotal visit to Berlin fueled her creative evolution, inspiring her to initiate Eclipse—a music organization and platform promoting techno culture and uniting music lovers in Sarajevo. Recognized for its high-energy events, Eclipse has become a standout in the local techno scene, hosting established and emerging talent. Ena has shared the stage with world-renowned artists like Umek, Patrice Bäumel, Marco Faraone, SHDW, Yokoo, &ME, Insolate, DJ Ogi, and many others, solidifying her reputation in the regional and international electronic music community.
