Elly DJ is a California-born, Queens-based writer and electronic musician. Inspired by the sonic innovations of Detroit and the spirit of the 1990s underground, their mixing displays a deep affection for groovy techno, left-field bass music, and psychedelic sounds of all kinds. Relatively new to the New York club circuit, they've spun at Brooklyn nightlife institutions including Bossa Nova Civic Club, Mood Ring, The End, Metropolitan, and Hell Phone. They also co-organize Top Surgery, a monthly trans mixer, and Midnight Ecstasy, a popular Bushwick club night.
