No one’s really sure how, but in spite of a severe bowlcut and heavy-set moustache (or perhaps because of them?) Elijah Something alongside his Conspiracy label and crew, are the names making waves in the Sydney scene for 2017. Obscure hair choices aside, Elijah Something has held down enviable residencies across Sydney’s premier venues and featured prominently in the country’s most exciting festivals for more than three years using only his impeccable knack for reading a room, to select the finest from groove-driven house to crisp, rolling minimal. Of course being able to “bend with the best” may have also helped. With appearances at Lost Paradise, PURE, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Mountain Sounds Festival and Listen Out under his belt; it is undeniable that this otherwise mysterious character has built an impressive resume on talent alone. Now, alongside his Conspiracy compadres Elijah has decided to step up his game, with a few hefty releases now under his belt and plenty more slated for release in 2018.
