Eliazar – Audiovisual Artist, Producer, and DJ Genres: Tech House, Minimal, House Eliazar, also known as Vj Noba, is an audiovisual artist, producer, and DJ currently based in Berlin, originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Renowned for his cutting-edge video jockeying (VJ) and innovative soundscapes, Eliazar creates immersive, boundary-pushing concert experiences. Since 2003, Eliazar has electrified audiences at top-tier festivals like MUTEK, LPM MX, LPM Italy, INTERFACE Mexico Puebla, and Flying Circus in the Mexican Caribbean. He played a pivotal role in shaping the vibe at Berlin's iconic Katerholzig, which later evolved into Katerblau. In 2015, Eliazar launched Default Machine, a record label championing diverse electronic music styles from house and deep house to minimal and downtempo. Through Default Machine, he cultivates and amplifies a dynamic electronic music community. In 2020, he introduced Hijos del Agua, a live project merging experimental dub and rock with captivating visuals, in collaboration with Oscar Rocha. They are currently gearing up to release a new album in 2024. Since 2023, Eliazar has been hosting a show on RTS.FM and collaborating with Cem Orlow at Café at Marla and Marla Records, showcasing his wide-ranging musical tastes. Eliazar's legacy in Berlin’s elite club scene, including venues like Katerblau,Chalet, Golden Gate, Sisyphos, and Renate, remains strong, with his sets celebrated for their experimental flair and urban edge, delivering a distinctive and euphoric musical journey.
