Ejival
Biografía
Ejival is a co-founder of Static Discos and a key figure in southern Mexico’s electronic music scene since the mid-1990s. Known for his consistent presence and deep, genre-spanning sets—ranging from minimal techno and tech house to cosmic disco—Ejival has performed at major festivals such as Coachella, MUTEK México, Festival Internacional de Benicàssim, and Communikey. He’s also played extensively across Mexico (Bar Americas, TOPAZDeluxe), including a residency at Tijuana’s legendary Don Loope during the early 2000s Nortec Collective boom, and appearances at national events like Sunday Sunday.
Beyond DJing, Ejival has contributed to the scene as a music programmer for MUTEK México and Nrmal, curating forward-thinking lineups. He’s shared the stage with artists like Optimo, Cosmo Vitelli, Jan Jelinek, Murcof, Sun Araw, Lee Foss, Justin V, Peaking Lights, Zombies in Miami, Microhm, Machino, Dj Puma, OCIO (Gustavo Cerati & Flavius Etcheto) and members of the Nortec Collective.
