The jungle classics "Terrorist" by Ray Keith and "Helicopter" by Deep Blue unified all his earlier musical influences, cementing his Jungle for life motto. Egres started Djing professionally in 1997 in radios, parties, raves and clubs in the New York area including in events such as Camouflage, Recess, Konkrete Jungle, Aperature, Push, Direct Drive, Acupuncture, Testpress, NYC Jungle Radio and as a resident Dj at Testpress. Since his return to Barcelona in 2004, he’s been involved in many Drum & Bass/Jungle projects such as Offshore Recs, Surco, NuBe9, Deep Jungle, SAE [Audio Engineering] and JUNGLE JUNGLE. EGRES has shared stage with many acclaimed artists such as Asc, Bizzy B, Bladerunner, Chris Inperspective, Code, Dara, DB, Distance, Dr.Bastardo, Equinox, Filastine, Flight, Fracture, Future Engineers, John B, Martyn, Om Unit, Phace, Presha, Remarc, Ricky Force, Sabre, Source Direct, Stretch, Survival, Suv, Trax, Scuba, Subject 13, Vapour, Various Productions and Vex’d and practically all of the Spanish Jungle/Drum & Bass cream of the crop. He’s also performed in numerous cities around the world.
