Edann’s music takes you on an enthralling odyssey of sounds that create a sense of mystery and euphoria while you navigate through his vibrant rhythms, dynamic melodies, and organic atmospheres. His performances are cathartic journeys without destination, meant to be experienced in the present moment–a personal philosophy that Edann reflects in his music. His music is a manifestation of the many inspirations he gathered throughout the years, from his culturally rich upbringing on the island of Aruba to the nocturnal influences of the city of Amsterdam. The diverse culture of Aruba exposed Edann to a wide array of musical genres, such as Latin legend Ray Barreto to the genre-hopping sounds of Datapanik to indie rock band Arctic Monkeys. He left Aruba at the age of 18 to explore a different scene, and it was then that he first set foot in the globally recognized dance scene of Amsterdam, never to return again. Like his live performances, his forthcoming album traverses all corners of the musical spectrum, while simultaneously providing the recognizable rhythmic consistency that keeps you glued to the dance floor.
