The Glasgow resident and Fiasco Events founder began his career in the late nineties, regularly appearing at the city’s after-hours warehouse and unit parties, bringing his signature sound of deep upbeat techy funk to the clubbers of Scotland. In 2000 Ed relocated to New York City and held his first residency at the Village Lantern, launching his international career and extending his reach to many different parts of the globe. In his travels, he regularly appears alongside noteworthy players such as Mark Farina, DJ Heather, Johnny Fiasco, Audiojack, Miss Honey Dijon, Roy Davis Jr, Gene Farris and Inland Knights. January 2008 saw the launch of the Fiasco brand, which rapidly gained popularity among the world’s followers of House Music; which led to Fiasco mixes being downloaded in the thousands. He quickly extended the familiarity of the brand by coordinating Fiasco parties in various cities around the globe; today Fiasco-branded parties are widely recognized in places such as Glasgow, London, Ibiza, Lausanne, Amsterdam, Miami, New York, Chicago, and San Francisco. Nowadays, Ed continues to push the Chicago sound and the Fiasco brand by bringing the finest underground house DJs together for up-close and personal events, in some of the world’s most intimate venues. Ed currently maintains a residency on Chicago House FM and hosts’ regular “Fiasco On Air” events around the world, which are broadcasted live on the Florida-based station.
