DYODE

The DYODE project trades predictable structures for a high-stakes exploration of modular tension and improvisational risk. Through the discovery and deconstruction of emergent frameworks, Adam and Dan forge momentum which is built, broken, and reborn in the heat of each live performance. Snug brings with him a wealth of techno experience and has shared the stage with techno pioneers such as DAVE The Drummer, Misstress Barbara, and Angel Alanis. Dan has a deep background with modular synthesis, hosts the Halifax Modular Meetup group, and regularly shares his creative output online as Northeast Passage. The duo have been DJing and performing live electronic music individually since the late 90s, between them having played many of the major East Coast festivals including Future Forest and Evolve.
