In the shadows of a retro-inspired mind lie the vividly artistic vocals and dreamy nostalgic synth sounds of Ryan Roth, aka Driver405. Roth is known for his neo-retro style of electronic music and his majestically manicured mustache. You may have first Driver405 on NewRetroWave Records with his remix of Parallel's "Dry Blood" or Vapor95's recent clothing ad featuring his track "Hunter" and the designer Mizucat. During the 2020 lockdown, Roth rebuted his "Driver405 Live" project alongside acts such as Ollie Wride, Betamaxx, and Michael Oakley featured on DNYMC and NewRetroWave's 1MM+ subscriber YouTube channel. Most recently, Roth won the Droid Bishop remix competition for the single "Doin' It Right". Lastly, his hybrid DJ set was even featured on GoodTV with Ardalan and Justin Martin. He is known for his LA event series with SLACKMACHINE titled "Italo Overdrive" which focuses on the adjacent, modern sounds of retrowave.
