Originally from Cowra, NSW and now based in Mulubinba (Newcastle AU), she transitioned from acoustic music and production to DJing, becoming a staple in Australia's drum and bass scene. Her sets have featured on platforms like Bristol's Goat Shed Radio show - The Down Underground, Full Spectrum, Sydney’s 2SER's Time To Track, Bondi Radio’s Savage Sessions, SUBjective Eora, Clitoverse, Rave Government, Adelaide’s The Ones and Twos on Fresh 92.7, Cairn’s The Drum & Bass Show and New Zealand's Fruit Blender. She co-hosted the "Cabin Fever Sessions" on Eora’s Orbital Radio until its closure in 2023 and is now the creative director of Newy Bass Crew. Dread Maiden has played at some of the most memorable parties in Eora (Sydney) and Mulubinba, including events hosted by Newy Bass Crew, Cabin Fever Crew, Dekonstructed, Higher Ground, Deep Space Entertainment, Haunted Science, Rave Cave, Lowfreq, Daydreaming, 404's Chikara Bass, Powder Your Nose, Rhythm At Dusk, Liquid Rezonance, and Shenanigans. Her reach extends beyond Newcastle and Sydney, with performances at Naarm’s (Melbourne) DNB Mondays and Meeanjin’s (Brisbane) Renegade Playground. She has shared the stage with Brazil’s Jam Thieves and Shapeless, the UK’s Serial Killaz, Dillinja, Ben Soundscape & Collette Warren, KOAN Sound, and New Zealand's Paige Julia. Dread Maiden has also proven her skills on the doof and festival circuit, playing at Australia’s Dragon Dreaming Festival (NSW), Basscamp (NSW), Subsonic Festival (NSW), Zenith Gathering (NSW), Ipso Facto (NSW), Rain Dance Festival (WA), and Rootbound Festival (FNQLD).  alongside some of Australia and the worlds best underground acts in drum and bass, psytrance, techno and more.
