Drawing on influences from her time living & DJing in South Africa, donwella’s sets flow through a spectrum of genres, united in their soul & groove. With her monthly residency at Balamii radio being selected as one of the station’s top shows of 2020, plus a few appearances at Threads and Voices Radio, donwella has been establishing herself on the London airwaves as a DJ and radio host whose love for the music you can hear through her thoughtfully curated selections. Her other alliances are with Cape Town based hip-hop collective Selective Hearing and Coop Audio, a not-for-profit sound system cooperative in London.
