In the mid 2000’s, Djamal started immersing himself in some of Ibiza’s most prolific hotspots including Amnesia, Privilege, DC10 and Space, subsequently seizing the moment and progressively distending an extensive music collection to headline a debut gig at the opulently themed venue ‘Bazaar’ on Ibiza at the tender age of 15. Djamal developed a esoteric fluency and natural proficiency for underground House, Tech House and Deep House music, with a slight influence by the 70’s & 80’s disco movement. When Djamal moved to Amsterdam in the Netherlands, he actively made a famed name in the electronic music scene where he received vociferous acclaim from dedicated crowds, seasoned producers and fellow DJ’s alike, providentially situating him at the forefront of Europe’s young upcoming elite. Performing at venues and events like: Sugarfactory, Studio 80, Ruigoord, Club Up, Chicago Social Club, In The Clouds Festival, Lief festival and HRFST Festival, were he has placed himself alongside acknowledged names like Michel de Hey, Mathias Kaden, Einmusik, and many more. With the Amsterdam-based SAE Institute being a recognised breeding ground for some of the world’s most promising talents in the music industry, Djamal has honed his expertise in Audio Engineering and Music Production. Djamal is currently working on several upcoming productions due to be released in the close future. Djamal has been travelling to Goa, India since the age of 3. By the age of 18 he had played at highly acclaimed events in: Goa, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. This has placed him amongst India’s Top underground music DJs, alongside prominent artists like Steve Rachmad, Luna City Express, Edu Imbernon and many more. In 2015, Djamal launched his own regular ‘EPIC’ music events held in Goa, India at one of the worlds finest venues called Chronicle. In March 2016, Djamal played in India’s neighbouring country Sri Lanka for Bang Bang Events and Club Clique, which was a great opportunity for the country to be introduced to his Ibiza sound for the very first time. Djamal has held residencies at Bambuddha Ibiza, Hotel ME, Experimental Beach Ibiza, Izakaya Ibiza, Rehab Ibiza, The Harbour Club Amsterdam, The Harbour Club Ibiza, Hotel Montesol Ibiza by Hilton, Las Dalias Ibiza and Sunset Ashram Ibiza. Furthermore, has he been a regular at the annual Sant Joan Party at which he organises the electronic music area. Djamal is also often involved with the organisation of the islands private villa/outdoor events and enjoys to broadcast sets on iconic radio stations like Ibiza Sonica, Pure Ibiza, Sceen.fm, The Zone-Radio and Houseport.fm. Djamal has performed at clubs like Pacha Ibiza, Sisyphos, Wilde Renate, Katerblau & Club Vaag amongst artists like Patrice Bäumel, San Proper, Guti and Claude Vonstroke just to name a few.
