With a Korean heritage but keeping a strong connection with Brazil, country where he lived and to which he still maintains strong ties, he navigates between genres and explores means of crossing boundaries in search of different ways of fusing them. Although his interest in music started at a very young age, it was during his errands as an app deliverer that he was able to spend endless hours nurturing his musical research. In Liège, his hometown, he had his first experiences playing at illegal protest parties promoting culture. Since then, he’s been taking it to another level and have already played in clubs, festivals and radios around Belgium, France and even Brazil. In 2022 DJ Takeaway launched Local Slang, a collective with two friends and partners (Ruf & Togo). The collective organizes a new series of events in Brussels and have already hosted artists like Siu Mata, Ojoo Gyal and Badsista.
