California born, Kyiv educated, now based in NYC. DJ S has been throwing parties and DJing for a decade. S's first DJ set was a nostalgic anarcho punk eulogy for a DIY event. S cut his teeth in San Francisco bars playing balkan brass music, then moved to Kyiv and did the same with hip-hop before falling in love with dance music at a rave. S now heads two Brooklyn parties, Hypnotic Spa, a deep listening event, and Headznite, a drum and bass party for chairty. S is the booker of Mansions in Ridgewood, a wine bar, club & fog room. S makes music under the moniker Mr. Scorpion 2000. S's first name is Sean.
