Born in the suburbs of Paris, DJ ROTAVELE grew up in an environment rich in artistic diversity, influenced by graffiti, industrial zones and urban culture. His father, a bassist, passed on to him early on a love of powerful vibrations, which had a profound influence on his sonic development. He discovered techno in clubs in Paris, then in Brittany, where rave parties immersed him in acid, mental and hypnotic sounds. Self-taught, he learnt to mix on vinyl and CDJ's, developing an impressive technique. Based in Marseille for the past five years, DJ ROTAVELE is a web developer by day and a DJ by night, perfecting his style on the local scene. He offers a groovy, hypnotic mix, faithful to his techno roots, while always seeking to thrill audiences with complex, energetic and captivating sets.
