DJ One Five has had a thirst for music since the age of 15 when he got his first pair of Technics. Growing up in the celebrated musical city of Detroit, DJ One Five has had many musical influences, but through hearing and feeling Techno & House he found his passion. Moving from Detroit to Atlanta in 2008, DJ One Five became a resident at Cloud IX in Atlanta. Since then he was consistently on the scene with multiple weekly residencies that allowed him to invite, play & build relationships with many DJs throughout Atlanta, Chicago, and Detroit. After bringing Chicago's Gene Hunt to Atlanta, One Five met the legendary DJ Pierre, who invited One Five to focus on the next phase of his dream as a DJ and Producer and join the Afro Acid team. DJ One Five has played many venues in Atlanta, Detroit, & Miami including Wild Pitch Music Hall (Atlanta), The Aloft Hotel Atlanta, The W Hotel Downtown Atlanta Havana Club (ATL), Music Room (ATL), The Weekender Festival (ATL), The Sweet Auburn Festival (ATL), Do not sit on the furniture (Miami), Charivari Detroit (Detroit) and more. DJ One Five has performed with DJ Pierre, Gene Hunt, Terry Hunter, Bruce Bailey, Roland Clark, Recloose, Salah Ananse, Stacey “HotWaxx” Hale, and Kai Alce---to name a few. A rising leader for the next generation of Techno & House music, One Five's vision is to share & introduce his sound, focusing on the young urban community, becoming a pioneer among his peers and to bring the roots of Techno & House music back to younger generations. DJ One Five currently resides in Atlanta, GA and holds residencies at The W Hotel Downtown Atlanta & Wild Pitch Music Hall a venue founded by legendary creator of Acid House DJ Pierre. DJ One Five is a member of the Afro Acid & Jack Trax label where he is gearing up for the launch of his first EP titled The Journey. Also member of One Luv a DJ duo that has a clothing line & throws events throughout the year.
