DJ, Personal Trainer, promotor Nicky Brockhouse aka "DJ NICKY B". I started DJ-ing with my old schoolmate "Dj Glenn Sidney" at the young age of 14 when we went 50/50 on a pair of Soundlab belt drive turntables and a Citronic 2 channel mixer! This led to mayhem in my bedroom every evening after school, mixing old skool classics from Todd Edwards, Bump & Flex, TJ Cases to the Anthill Mob, while inbetween listening to our favourite pirate radio stations and then getting told off for not doing our homework! As you can imagine my grades certainly were not A*!! I then at the age of 17 got residency at a lap dancing club in Farringdon London where I played every Saturday! This taught me to play a variety of different genres and mix on cd decks for the first time too! Even though I was playing different genres I still loved "House & Garage" and got another residence in Elysium @ Cafe Royal playing a funky brand of tunes. I have in more recent times moved to more Funky Tech House rhythms, but I also do a radio set every other Wednesday on Mode Fm playing a mixture of old skool Garage from my roots and more modern House.
