DJ Khu is a passionate music veteran in Barcelona's house music scene who has lived through its development in the mid 90s' and witnessed a number of golden ages in the city, such as the beginnings of its club culture or the start of the Sonar festival. As a vinyl collector he has been around shops all around the world looking for the absolute grails of house music in cities like New york, London or Bangkok. His favourite thing to do in Barcelona is digging into tubs full of used vinyls searching for overlooked hits that no-one else has noticed and using them to later surprise his crowd. It's all about finding unusual sounds with different rhythms. Mixing the best from past decades with the new releases from today. In his sets you will experience Jazz, Soul, Disco, Funk, R&B or Gospel music mixed with electronic music. His speciality is American House music with sounds that have roots in New York, Chicago, Detroit or Baltimore, however he also brings into his mix many other quality sounds both local or internationaly around Europe.
