Her style is characterized by a combination of hard breaks and bouncy basslines on one hand and soft, playful vocals and edits on the other, trying to find the balance between a warehouse rave and a bouncy 808 club. Having a Kurdish identity and having lived in various countries throughout her life, Dj Keshi’s music reflects her diverse experiences and heritage through multiple facets and genres. Her sound aims to evoke feelings of euphoria & nostalgia that seeks to offer a space for unwinding and letting go, especially for oppressed bodies and communities.
