Marcello Cadoni, also known as Kad is an italian based Dj/Remixer and Engineer/Audio-Technician. Born in Sardinia, a small italian groovy island, «territory of house music», he started to play piano at restaurants, parties and clubs in ‘90. In that period he met some components of «Houseland» a local organization specialized in House music events. They inspired him a lot and thanks to the passion for technology he started to use samplers, controllers and all the emerging digital equipments, entering slowly with humility in the djing and production territory following an unusual path: From digital to analog. He moved in Tuscany in 2000 for study Computer Science. There he met epic dj’s that made the history of electronic music in italy like Ricky Le Roy and Mario Più. At Pisa he played at several college parties and alternative clubs like «La Centrale» and «Venus». He joined the first italian digital-jockey festival at Pontedera and a Psytrance party in Belgrad. He moved in Bologna in 2011 for job. Passion for the afro percussions brought him to play at salsa/reggaeton events within the group «Carnaval Latino» in Bologna and Venice but some years later his «House Music» roots brought him back to his favourite road. He often play a kind of house music influenced by funk, AfroTribal beats and Disco ‘70 but in special occasions his love for synth,violins, strings and Jean Michael Jarre tunes bring him to play progressive house and techno tunes creating some nice trippy ambience
