IL is a disc jockey based in Berlin, Germany. Originally born and raised in South Korea, IL had an early exposure to house music in Canada where he spent the majority of his youth. With an ambition to become one of the first Korean djs to tour around Europe, he moved to Berlin in 2014. “Moving to Berlin had definitely opened up and shaped my musical world.’ says IL, who now is deeply engaged in the local scene. He has passion for djing and finding new music. He believes that it’s the passion of his that will one day make him a tastemaker. IL has a clear idea of what he wants to deliver in his music. It’s the true emotions and feelings of human beings, which he believes, lie within the original theme of house music.
