Born in Memphis Tennessee, Jess Jackson had an early introduction to music. Both parents were incredibly musically inclined, not to mention her extended family being music royalty. Jess & her sisters also sing, write & produce together in a band called JCKSN AVE. Growing up, Jess was introduced to music production when her father brought home a Korg Trinity keyboard along with the Korg Triton. At the age of 10, Jess started to play around with making her own tracks. Her father showed her how to manually sequence her tracks using the MMT-8 Alesis & taught her how to save everything to floppy disks using the Alesis Data Disk which kickstarted her love for music production. Growing up in recording studios where her parents had sessions also had a huge impact on her engineering skills. It wasn't until the age of 16 where Jess experimented with remixing songs & mashing up mixes for her dance team. Jess has always had a love for the vast creation of music and how colorful it can be. Since DJing her first live show in 2017, Jess has been on the move DJing shows in Memphis, Los Angeles, New York and many more!
