Catchi is a DJ from Ecuador now living in Bristol. From her travels around the globe she has gathered an eclectic ear for sound which ranges across all techno genres, house, breaks and nu disco. She is the founder of Minotaur Sound, a Bristol based underground techno and breaks music night that appeals to the disenfranchised and those who yearn for the raves of the 90’s. She specialises in schneckno (slow techno) and she’s supported Alex Banks from Ninja Tune, Butch Queen and Maxxi Soundsystem. She’s a resident for Queer music label Dolce Vita Bristol. Catchi promises to make everyone dance, no matter what music denomination they follow and she’s an advocate for giving female (and those who identify as female) artists a voice / musical platform.
