Dj Almelo has been dj-ing in and around Rotterdam for a decade now. Initially drawn towards disco and soulful house, his ever-growing record collection has not only become bigger, but has widened significantly as well. As his musical taste broadened and developed, he's now known for his eclecticism. You can find him regularly at Amsterdam's listening bar "murmur" playing droney downtempo experimental music. Or at BIT in Rotterdam, either warming up with a deep and groovy house selection, or somewhere deep into he night (or morning) keeping energy levels high with uptempo breaks, acid, and techno. Besides his dj-activties, he is making experimental music either by himself or with his three-headed band M35 through his heavily modulated bass guitar sounds.
