Born in Rio de Janeiro, Disco Digo began his musical career in 2013 organizing events and supporting artists from the local indie scene. He later became a music producer, previously known as D-Groov, releasing tracks on record labels such as Sony Music. With over 8 years of experience as a DJ, he was one of the founders of Coletivo Pirajá, recognized in Louis Vuitton’s 2023 Rio City Guide for its innovative contributions to the Rio music scene, ‘celebrating the mix of nostalgic rhythms with a fresh and contemporary feel’. Currently in Lisbon, he is co-founder of Alias, a party label that celebrates local music where house grooves meet the soulful rhythms of disco, enriched with Brazilian music and global influences.
