Underground parties in the Amsterdam area in the early 90ies inspired DEM to dive deep into the beautiful world of house music. The catacombs at the Oostelijke Handelskade, Graansilo, the abandoned factories in Amsterdam Noord, those parties formed the foundation for a style that emerged into a deep and groovy sound influenced with heavy bass from the hip hop music he listened to before he was infected by the house virus. Although unknown to most, a few know his deep hypnotizing sets from the different underground parties he played at across the Netherlands, Germany and Portugal. Next to his love for electronic music, a passion for tech drove him towards a different career which resulted in staying strictly underground as a DJ.
