Destro is one of the pioneering DJs of Techno and Hard Techno in Latin America. Over his 24-year career, he has performed on stages in 13 countries across the Americas and Europe, including England, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, United States, Andorra, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and his country, Venezuela. He has shared the stage with some of the most important names in the global Techno scene and has received numerous awards and recognitions for his work, activism, and achievements. His distinctive technique and versatility allow him to navigate both digital and vinyl realms in a wide diversity of sounds including Techno, Hard Techno, Hardgroove, Acid Techno, and Breakbeats. As a producer, he has released his music on vinyl and digital formats on important labels and has collaborated with prominent artists. Currently, Destro is co-owner, resident DJ, and bookings director at Octava Club, the most important electronic music club in Colombia, consistently ranked in the DJ MAG's TOP100 Clubs for the past 5 years. At the club, he hosts Altered State Techno night. Beyond the stage, he has made significant contributions as a teacher, communicator, and speaker, serving as a brand ambassador for important brands such as Sennheiser, Movimiento Ilícito, and Ron Carúpano. He is currently the official DJ for Allen&Heath and Novation in Colombia, where he resides, regularly conducting free workshops and promotional activities for these prestigious brands of the industry. As an entrepreneur, he founded DJ College, the most important DJ school in Venezuela, and DJ Profile TV, one of the most prominent digital media outlets in Latin America, receiving numerous awards and recognitions, participating in prominent startup acceleration programs in the region such as Wayra and Start-UP Chile.
