DeFutaMadre has been through many different stages of music business. In 2007, he joined the roster of Prague’s Radio 1. First privately owned radio station in Czech Republic after the fall of communism, which has been instrumental in shaping czech underground music scene. The station is still going strong, sticking by its core principles of no playlists, musical and ideological eclecticism and tolerance. Shortly after joining, he started assisting in the programming department, ultimately making it to programming director. Although he left the radio office for sound engineering and production work, it is on Radio 1, where he has his bi-weekly show, dedicated to showcasing fresh house music cuts. As a producer, he released tracks on Groovy Riddim Records, Spain, Deeptown Music, Switzerland, True House LA, Climax Digital and Metropolitan Recordings. His sets are first and foremost colourful and feature everything from heavily disco-influenced tracks and classic soulful house, through jackin cuts all the way to rougher subgenres, depending on the venue and the mood of the audience.
