They are fueled by the very same trailblazing energy that changed the world on many accords throughout history. The birthplace of techno will turn out to be the preface of this duo's magical tale. Artists of sonic & visual virtues, the FAKES unrestrictedly view genres as tools and not a cage, fusing all into a nostalgic yet futuristic format. Visually, the duo is responsible for curating all of their artwork through the range of photography, film, motion graphic, and live visuals. Being one of the only touring acts to control visuals directly from the stage, DEEPFAKE has total synchronization at any given moment. DEEPFAKE performs fully covered in a variation of their signature razzle design, completing the look with a classic Detroit hat. 'Not here to be famous as humans', the duo's intention behind the masks stems from a place of performance art integrity. This is not a ploy for fame or attention, rather a clear reflection, allowing others to see only the art and themselves as DEEPFAKE. A righteous act to inspire others to find their TRUE identity in a world split between what is Real and what is Fake. DEEPFAKE recently performed at Freaky Deaky Music Festival in Austin, Texas. The Fakes will be touring in Japan for 2 weeks with performances in Tokyo, Kyoto, & beyond. In the virtual realm, DEEPFAKE is performing at the Decentraland Metaverse Music Festival. Starting 2024, the Fakes will be on Groove Cruise and will announce the Razzle Room Tour across America.
