It’s about giving a real platform to a rich diversity of underrepresented genres from non-Western club capitals - weaving Kuduro, Batida, Gqom, Singeli, Juke, Mahraganat, Dabke, Bouyon, Shatta and Favela sounds into one seamless journey. Whether leaning into polyrhythmic syncopation to connect Chicago drum patterns with Middle Eastern or African percussion, or riding a straight, heavy bass groove, her flow is so natural you don’t notice how fast the rhythms are shifting across continents. ¡DEEPA!’s goal on the decks is simple: bring back Pangea, one set at a time.
