Deborah Sumter is a 27-year-old Rotterdam-based DJ part of the all-female DJ collective and event curator squad AMPFEMININE. This PhD candidate by day turns DJ by night. She started dj-ing in 2018 and is an upcoming talent you definitely need to keep your eyes on! In her sets she loves to connects groovy and soulful house and techno with, UK garage and bass. When she plays you can expect a lot of percussions and heavy basslines. In 2019, Deborah played at Club NYX in Amsterdam and Performance Bar and MONO in Rotterdam. One of the highlights last year was when she got to warm up the stage for Josey Rebelle at BIRD. The future is looking bright for her: in 2020 and beyond!
